Project Brief

Julie Flowers is the CEO and Founder of Elevate YOU Coaching, a women's empowerment and career coaching organisation dedicated to helping women rise. Her podcast, Savvy Sisters & Cocktail Conversations, does exactly what the name promises: real, unfiltered conversations that empower women one episode at a time. The ask was straightforward, take existing podcast footage and cut it into short form content that would keep viewers watching.

The Approach

Before touching the timeline I went back through their previous videos to understand what had already been done and what the audience was used to seeing. Rather than starting from scratch, I chose to build on what was working then push it further by layering in animations to help key moments land harder and make the information easier to follow.

The Process

The edit came together with one round of feedback. Julie's only note was the music choice. One change, and it was ready to publish.

The Result

Engaging, audience first short form content that felt native to the show while giving it a sharper, more polished edge.
